01 · The founder
Antonello Croce
Antonello started where his customers start: on the lab bench. Trained as a dental technician in Pescara, Italy, he spent his first years producing crowns, bridges, and dentures by hand before crossing into digital — six years as Head of Digital at Ruthinium, leading R&D on 3D-printing materials, directing the company's design service, and teaching prosthetic technologies as an assistant lecturer to dentistry students at Milan University.
He is the sole inventor of a granted patent for repositioning removable dentures from the digital to the analog workflow. In July 2023 he founded MetaDAC and took the next step: DACOS Omni, the ZeroDrift™ Transfer Fidelity System (PCT Patent Pending), born from a problem the industry hadn't yet named — every plaster-free workflow silently loses precision between CAD design and articulator verification. From a Dubai apartment, he grew the company into a global operation: today DACOS ships to laboratories in more than 20 countries and has drawn research interest from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine.
A technician by training and an educator by vocation, he serves as global consultant and Full Master Pro instructor for Blender for Dental — coordinating its international instructor network — writes and reviews for the Dental Cadmos journal, and lectures internationally, from LMT Lab Day Chicago and LMT Lab Day West to the DDS State of the Art Conference in Florence.
He also builds MetaDAC's entire technology stack himself: AI-assisted code, self-built web and e-commerce infrastructure, an order-to-delivery chain that runs end to end without a human hand, and DACY, the AI retrieval assistant inside DACademy. The philosophy is fixed — use AI for leverage and retrieval, never to replace the craft or the teacher.
Precision is a system, not a talent.
